Gordon Brothers Nab Brevet Capital Exec.

Frank Grimaldi has left hedge fund Brevet Capital to join Gordon Brothers Group.

Grimaldi worked on investment opportunity origination at the New York-based firm. He formerly worked at CIT Group, Lakeside Advisors, Summit Investment Management, SB Capital Group and Platinum Funding Group.

At Gordon Brothers, Grimaldi will be a member of the appraisal and valuation division focusing on the New York area. He will work with asset-based lenders, private equity sponsors and corporate managers on asset valuation.

“Frank’s years of banking, private equity and appraisal experience will be instrumental in serving our New York area clients,” managing director Jeffrey Lerner said.
