J.C. Flowers Nabs Clayton Dubillier Financials Chief

Private equity firm J.C. Flowers & Co. has hired financial services specialist Eric Rahe from Clayton Dubillier & Rice.

Rahe was named a managing director at Flowers. Firm founder J. Christopher Flowers said his “experience makes him an excellent fit for our sector-focused investment strategy.”

Rahe spent six years at CDR, setting up its financial-services practice. He formerly worked at hedge fund SAC Capital, p.e. shop Capital Z Parters and Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette.

“J.C. Flowers is one of the preeminent global investors in financial services, and I am excited to be joining their team,” Rahe said. “I look forward to helping the firm continue to invest successfully in the industry.”
