Goldman's O'Connor Joining Naya Management as Head of Marketing

Naya Management has hired Goldman Sachs consumer marketing analyst Lucinda O’Connor as head of marketing.

O’Conner will reportedly help develp Naya’s sales and marketing efforts. She joined Goldman in 2011 from Credit Suisse, where she was a beverage analyst, and recently left to take the Naya role.

Naya Management was founded in 20012 by former Children’s Fund partner Masroor Siddiqui and former Citadel head of European equities Bruce Emery. The two subsequently parted ways in 2014 following Emery’s departure amid allegations Masroor was trying to force him out.

Launched with backing from Blackstone Group, the fund attracted over $1 billion in its first to rank among the most successful fund launches of 2012.

The London-based fund now has assets under management of more than $1.5 billion.
