Amundi Launches UCITS-Compliant Version of Global Multi-Asset Fund

Oct 22 2015 | 9:34pm ET

European asset manager Amundi has launched a UCITS-compliant version of its global multi-asset fund previously available only to French investors.

Named the Amundi Funds Multi-Asset Global Fund and launched under the company’s Luxembourg-based SICAV family, the fund claims “flexible diversified management for consistent performance” and aims to outperform the euro overnight index average by more than 2.5% per annum over a three-year investment horizon before fees, according to the company.

Fund managers are Yannick Quenehen and Alexandre Burgues. The fund uses a multi-asset class and international allocation approach to tap different sources of performance, and adapts exposure to various markets within a well-defined framework, according to a statement by Burgues.

Paris-based Amundi, formed from a 2010 joint-venture between Credit Agricole and Societe General, is one of Europe’s largest money managers. The company’s total assets under management were approximately €950 billion at 30 June 2015.
