The Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association (CAIA) has announced a new partnership with 100 Women in Hedge Funds (100WHF) and the 100 Women in Hedge Funds Foundation.

The new partnership will help support the "Celebrating Education" initiative, which will roll out new outreach and access programs in 2016 and 2017 designed to encourage young women to look more favorably at a career in finance and investments, and to create educational opportunities and access points for women who want to join the industry.

CAIA joins the Forte Foundation, Girls Who Invest and Smart Woman Securities as partners with 100WHF in the initiative, according to a press release.

“As we seek to inspire the next generation of young women at university and business school to consider a career in finance, and specifically the alternatives industry, we will be offering the CAIA Fundamentals program as one of the educational tools to assist these individuals as they navigate their career choice,” said Amanda Pullinger, CEO of 100WHF. “We value this ongoing partnership and the opportunity to work with CAIA to meet our mutual objectives.

The CAIA Association is best known for the CAIA Charter, an internationally recognized credential granted to those in the institutional alternative investments industry upon successful completion of a rigorous two-level exam series and accumulation of relevant work experience. The association is comprised of more than 7,700 alternative investment professionals located in more than 80 countries.
