ClearPoint Investment Partners Names May to Operating Director Role

ClearPoint Investment Partners has appointed veteran travel and consumer services executive Kenneth May as an operating director.

May will help Clearpoint enhance its presence in the hospitality and travel sectors, according to the company. He brings 30 years of operating experience to the company, having led and grown a number of global businesses in travel services, consumer banking, and other consumer related industries. He was chairman and CEO of Group RCI, now Wyndham Vacation Exchange & Rentals, and was general manager of the North American cards division of Citigroup. Earlier in his career, he was general manager at Disney Vacation Development, and held numerous senior executive positions for PepsiCo and Colgate-Palmolive.

"We are excited to have Ken join our operating team,” said Ingrid Mazul, co-founder and partner of ClearPoint, said in a statement. “He has a successful track record of driving profitable growth, as well as building high performing management teams and brings a strategic network of relationships."

Headquartered in San Mateo, CA, ClearPoint Investment Partners is a private equity firm investing in business services and financial processing companies in the lower middle-market. ClearPoint’s founders have successfully invested in 17 platform companies and completed over 20 add-on acquisitions in business services and financial processing, according to the company’s website.
