Beachhead Capital Management Adds Liquid Alt Strategies To Mercury iFunds Platform

Liquid alternatives specialist Beachhead Capital Management has announced the inclusion of two of its strategies in Mercury Capital Advisors’ iFunds platform.

Beachhead’s Equity Hedge Dynamic Beta and Managed Futures Dynamic Beta strategies, which seek to match or outperform leading hedge funds with low fees and daily liquidity, are now available on the iFunds system, according to a statement. Both build on Beachhead’s nearly ten years of research into the drivers of hedge fund returns.

"We are very proud to partner with Mercury and the iFunds platform,” said Andrew Beer, managing partner of Beachhead. “This will enable a broader range of advisors to access our low cost, liquid alternative investments strategies.

The collaboration addresses investor demand for prudent diversification without high fees and illiquidity, Beer continued. The iFunds system offers a broad range of alternatives products across the liquidity spectrum, and is the only digital platform operated by a leading global capital intermediary with relationships with more than 2,500 sophisticated global institutions, including sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, insurance companies, and endowments.

“Beachhead’s lower cost, liquid hedge fund strategies are powerful complements to many of the less liquid hedge fund and private equity strategies available on the Mercury iFunds platform,” added Michael Ricciardi, co-founder of Mercury.

New York-based Beachhead is a hedge fund advisory firm focused on delivering hedge fund performance coupled with low fees, daily liquidity and transparency.  The firm manages approximately $500 million and serves as the sole sub-advisor of two liquid alternative funds for SEI Investments Company.
