KOGER Deploys Cloud-Based Version Of Signature NTAS Platform

Fund administration software company KOGER has announced deployment of its flagship NTAS platform to the cloud for greater ease of use, increased scalability and lower up-front costs.

NTAS is a share registry system that manages fund tracking, reporting and fee calculation. In particular, NTAS handles daily transfer agency recordkeeping, investor registration, cash management, trade processing, compliance, reporting and fee processing. In the cloud, the software runs seamlessly via a secure VPN, while the new configuration reduces up-front costs and improves scalability without additional hardware or an “end of life” for current equipment.

“The migration of NTAS to the cloud is part of our ongoing innovation to enhance efficiency for financial institutions and make complex processes easier to manage,” said Ras Sipko, KOGER’s COO, in a statement. “With this step, the platform becomes even faster and more convenient. It eliminates costly infrastructure expenditures for smaller firms, allowing easier access to more sophisticated technology and valuable efficiencies.”

Founded in 1994 and headquartered in New Jersey, KOGER was a pioneer of fund administration solutions for alternative investments.  Over time, the company’s signature NTAS product developed into a comprehensive fund administration platform that now serves the entirety of the investment industry. More than 8,000 funds with $2 trillion in assets are administered through NTAS, which is used by many of the largest funds, fund administrators and financial institutions in the world.
