Artisan Partners Taps Monaghan For Business Development Role

Global investment manager Artisan Partners has expanded its European distribution team by hiring former Nomura executive Pearse Monaghan as a director.
In his new role, Monaghan will play a major role in the company’s business development efforts in the U.K. and Ireland, Artisan said. He will be based in London. 
Prior to his new position, Monaghan was institutional business development director at Nomura from 2013 to last month. Beforehand, he was in institutional sales at HSBC Global Asset Management, and began his career in 2009 at Pioneer Investments. 
Founded in 1994 by Andy and Carlene Ziegler, Artisan Partners is a global investment management firm that provides a broad range of high value-added investment strategies in growing asset classes to sophisticated clients around the world. As of April 30, 2017, the company managed $106.6 billion in assets on behalf of institutional and individual clients.
