KOGER Receives ISO 9001 Quality Management Certification

Financial industry software specialist KOGER, home to the NTAS platform for fund administration and compliance, has received ISO 9001:2015 quality management certification.

The certification, awarded by the Geneva-based International Organization for Standardization, means the company meets a rigorous and comprehensive quality standard that covers all of its processes and operations, KOGER said in a statement. ISO 9001 designations are among the most difficult in the world to attain.

KOGER’s certification states that the company has “implemented and maintains a quality management system for the design and managed development of fund administration software,” the company added.

“We felt it was important that KOGER receive the ISO quality certification,” said Ras Sipko, KOGER chief operating officer, in the statement. “The fact that we meet this high standard reinforces and confirms our strict controls and procedures, and demonstrates an enhanced level of transparency for our clients.”

KOGER’s NTAS software platform is a share registry system that manages fund tracking, reporting and fee calculation. The system handles daily transfer agency recordkeeping, investor registration, cash management, trade processing, compliance, reporting and fee processing.

Founded in 1994 and headquartered in New Jersey, KOGER was a pioneer of fund administration solutions for alternative investments.  Over time, the company’s signature NTAS product developed into a comprehensive fund administration platform that now serves the entirety of the investment industry. More than 8,000 funds with $2 trillion in assets are administered through NTAS, which is used by many of the largest funds, fund administrators and financial institutions in the world.
