ML Capital has unveiled a new UCITS-compliant multi-strategy liquid alternative fund in partnership with U.S. boutique manager Advent Capital Management.

The new fund, named the Advent Global Partners UCITS fund, will be hosted on the company’s MontLake platform, according to ML Capital. The Advent Global Partners strategy launched in 1996 and is agnostic to any single sub-strategy. The fund invests globally exploiting relative value volatility, event driven and credit opportunities while capitalizing on market dislocations.

The fund is managed by Advent’s Marc Friezo and Doug Teresko. As with several previous ML Capital UCITS launches, it was launched in partnership with hedge fund advisory and seeding firm Genesis Advisors.

“We are delighted to have partnered with Advent Capital for the launch of the Advent Global Partners UCITS Fund,” said ML Capital CEO Cyril Delamare in a statement. “Advent is a welcome addition to the UCITS universe and we look forward to building our partnership with the team”.

ML Capital’s MontLake UCITS Platform, with 24 funds, is an independent platform for UCITS vehicles providing investors with access to a range of liquid, transparent and regulated investment products domiciled in Dublin. Founded in 2009, the company specializes in a range of alternative and traditional investment solutions for a global client base, with more than $3.5 billion of assets under management across a suite of products.
