Capital Dynamics Raises $383M For Sixth Co-Investment Fund

Global asset manager Capital Dynamics has raised $383 million in capital commitments for its latest co-investment fund, exceeding its $350 million target.

The new fund, named Mid-Market Direct IV, was oversubscribed, the company said in a statement, and is its largest co-investment fund to date. Investors include pension funds, insurance companies, family offices and high-net worth individuals. Some 25% of the new fund’s capital has already been deployed into seven mid-market investments, the statement continued. 

MMD IV consists of new and existing investors, including pension funds, insurance companies, family offices and high net worth individuals across a diverse range of geographies including the United States, the Middle East, Asia and Europe.

The firm has more than $28 billion in assets under management, advisement and administration.
