Perella Weinberg Taps Schultes For OCIO Business

Agility, the outsourced chief investment officer business of Perella Weinberg Partners, has named former Colonial Consulting executive Amita Schultes as a managing director at the firm. 

In her new role, Schultes will be a member of Agility’s Investment Team and work with endowments and foundations and other institutional clients across the United States, according to a statement. She will be based in New York and will report to Agility president and Peralla partner Trey Thompson. 

Schultes joins Perella Weinberg Partners from Colonial Consulting, where she was a partner and senior consultant. In this role, she served as the sole investment consultant to numerous non-profit institutional investors and pension plans, advising clients on the management of their investment portfolios. Beforehand, she was a senior consultant at Ibbotson Associates where she developed asset allocation programs for asset management companies, insurance companies and broker dealers. Schultes began her career at Salomon Smith Barney.

Agility provides outsourced investment solutions such as OCIO and consulting services. With approximately $8.6 billion in assets under management, the firm works with a diverse global client base of endowments, foundations, family offices, corporations, and other pools of capital.
