Tech-focused private equity company Vista Equity Partners has strengthened its executive team with two hires, bringing former Salesforce executive Burke Norton aboard as co-head and principal of Vista Perennial Investing and ex-Eton Park Capital Management partner Greg Myers as global head of investor relations.

The appointments come as Vista develops a capability for perennial investments that focus on longer term horizon opportunities, the company said in a statement.

Norton was most recently chief legal officer and chief of corporate and government affairs at Salesforce, and beforehand served as general counsel at Expedia. He started his career at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he represented technology companies in M&A and other corporate transactions.

Myers was a partner and senior managing director at Eton Park Capital Management until earlier this year. Beforehand, he was with Lazard & Co. in London and New York and began his career at Merrill Lynch & Co.

Vista was founded by former Goldman Sachs executive Robert Smith and former Bain leveraged buyout specialist Brian Sheth in 2000. The company has more than $30 billion in cumulative capital commitments currently invested in software, data and technology-based organizations.
