Bruce Steinberg, a senior research executive at Ray Dalio’s Bridgewater Associates, was among the ten Americans killed in a New Year’s Eve crash of a chartered Cessna 2008 Caravan in Costa Rica.

Steinberg’s wife and three sons were also among the victims, according to a statement by the company on Monday. Another family of four from Florida, a Backroads tour guide and two Costa Rican pilots were also lost in the accident.

The single-engine turboprop aircraft was operated by Nature Air and crashed into a mountainside shortly after takeoff from Punta Islita airport in Guanacaste, according to multiple media reports.
