Fisch Asset Management Taps Deutsche AM's Kloc for High Yield Role

Swiss convertible bond specialist Fisch Asset Management has brought former Deutsche Asset Management credit executive Kyle Kloc aboard as a senior portfolio manager.

Kloc will serve as senior portfolio manager on one of Fisch’s global high yield funds and will co-manage a global credit fund, according to the company. He joined the firm earlier this month.

Kloc comes to Fisch with 16 years of experience in the high-yield asset class. He served as co-head of global and European high yield strategies at Deutsche Asset Management from 2007 until 2015, managing €5.8 billion in assets, and was also the lead portfolio manager of the global high yield construction team. He started his career as an analyst at ING Barings BHF-BANK.

"We are proud to add a proven expert in our ranks,” said Philipp Good, head of portfolio management for Fisch and a member of the company’s management board, in a statement. “Our team expansion is based on our prognosis that credit strategies will grow quicker than the broader market. The addition of Kyle comes at a crucial time in our growth.”

Founded by Kurt Fisch and Dr. Pius Fisch in Zürich in 1994, Fisch Asset Management focuses on high yield and emerging market corporate credit as well as on absolute return and trend following strategies. It managed CHF 9 billion as of March 31, 2016.
