Former Aravt Global research analyst Christopher Weldon is reportedly working on a new long/short hedge fund that will trade equities and make opportunistic credit investments.
The new firm, named Stamina Capital LLC, will utilize proprietary investment frameworks and primary research to source a concentrated portfolio of high conviction investments with a high degree of variant perception, according to the company’s website. The New York-based company reportedly began trading this week.
Weldon was with Yen Liow’s $1.4 billion long/short hedge fund Aravt Global until October 2016. Beforehand, he was a partner with Incline Global Management, and began his investment career in Oak Hill Capital’s private equity group.
